Destiny DLC Leaks Unveil New Features and Future Events
Recently, many Destiny DLC leaks have been surfacing. According to Christian Today post, even before the scheduled release of the expansion of the much awaited first-person shooter game online, fans have managed to seek unfinished maps inside the DLC release for the game. However, Bungie, the developer of the game, is still missing in action.
Based on a Game Rant post, the leaks include both video and screenshots, which highlight the new strike missions and raids. Many of these leaks were believed that they have something to do with the upcoming DLC expansions of Destiny.
During the time that leaks spread, many expected that Bungie was not happy with the contents, given that such leaks have strong ties with the pre-existing DLC names. However, Bungie confirmed that the contents were actually part of the upcoming content plans. And today, Bungie said that the assumptions are correct.
But, in doing so, there were several speculations and rumors. There is a blog post from the Community Manager Deej that revealed about the truth behind the leaked info. It confirmed that the leaks are actually part of the upcoming plans of Bungie for Destiny. He also added that the developer is doing their best for the new content and must be finished soon. The Community Manager of Bungie also promises that fans should watch out for the release of Destiny soon and nothing else follows.
While Bungie felt like their fans got them, their post was drawn harsh criticisms from the gamers. There are others who are lambasting Bungie for working on the new paid content while its base game lacks polish particularly the loot system.
Although there's no doubt that these gamers have strong points, Bungie does not seem to change their trajectory. As a matter of fact, at some point, this actually seems as if Bungie is running opposite the fan base of Destiny. But, the good news is that the content is now on the way.
According to Sunday Express, Bungie has stated that the planned DLCs are already finished yet they are still subjected to some changes.
