The Sudden Weight Loss of Zach Galifianakis
Zach Galifianakis, who portrayed Alan in "The Hangover" films, shocked everyone with a major weight loss. According to International Business Times, it seemed that he lost his weight for several months.
Based on Huffington Post, he has slimmer frame at the premiere of "Birdman" film at Alice Tully Hall in New York last October 12. His newest movie, "Birdman," comes with a subtitle "Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance," which is about a superhero whose about to reveal the Broadway play. The said appearance of Galifianakis on the event is his first during this year. When the actor was asked about his weight loss, he did not take it seriously.
From an interview on E! News, he was asked regarding his weight loss and he answered that he is dying. The interviewer told the actor that he looked good and his suit really fitted him well. He replied with a joke that his suit is a ladies' size 50. Galifianakis was wearing a grey suit with blue checks together with a pale blue shirt as well as a navy tie.
Last October 14, Galifianakis had a conversation with the TV host Jimmy Falton on "The Tonight Show." He was asked about several topics including his dramatic weight loss. Galifianakis said that he already quit drinking and tried to drop a few pounds. He also joked about having a sausage and tons of vodka. He added that even if the foods were delicious, it is really not healthy. He also mentioned that he was not done dropping extra pounds yet.
Zach Galifianakis lost about 50 pounds, which makes him look like a new hot celebrity. His major weight loss also reflected on his face. In a recent interview, he said that he was a bit gross about the way Hollywood congratulates him all the time. He also mentioned that he was not a fan of being on the spotlight and said that it confuses him. He wasn't also interested in being the best celebrity as he only likes to be an actor. For him, there is a difference between an actor and a celebrity.
