Kanye West & Kim Kardashian: The Most Romantic Engagement of the Year - A Recap

Kanye West & Kim Kardashian: The Most Romantic Engagement of the Year - A Recap
On the latest episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," Kanye West and Kim Kardashian took their fans back to the time when they were not yet married but very excited to tie the knot. For anyone who did not know how the proposal occurred, the TV show was generous enough to share it with viewers, and here is a recap just for you:
Once again, West and Kardashian were the talk of the town due to their romantic and auspicious engagement on a Monday evening that was also Kardashian's birthday (she was turning 33). E Online News described West as a man who is primarily concerned about his style, and, indeed, the popular rapper proposed to his partner with his usual unique flair.
Before he popped the question at AT&T Park in San Francisco, which he had rented out for the very special occasion, West first sought the blessing of his future-mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, for the hand of her daughter in marriage. After he received permission from Jenner, West proceeded to present Kardashian with a 15-carat diamond ring.
Candles and fireworks exploded into the beautiful night sky, adding to the romantic atmosphere of the event. The stadium, home of the San Francisco Giants, was empty and solely reserved for the couple's romantic evening. ABC then revealed that Kardashian was surprised by the entrance of her family, who appeared from one of the dugouts to greet her just after she said yes. But West's surprise did not end there: a 50-piece orchestra then played "Young and Beautiful" by Lana Del Rey, followed by Ne-Yo, Kanye, and Keri Hilson performing "Knock You Down."
According to MTV, getting down on one knee was not enough, as West enlisted the assistance of the stadium to deliver the magic words "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!", which flashed across the jumbotron. West and Kardashian first revealed their romance to the public in 2012, prior to becoming parents to North, their 4-month-old daughter.
The engagement signalled the beginning of the TV star's third trip down the aisle. In 2000 Kardashian, who was 19 years old at the time, married music producer Damon Thomas, but the couple filed for separation four years later. In August 2012, Kardashian and basketball star Kris Humphries became husband and wife, but their marriage famously lasted for just 72 days.
In 2014, the couple are happily living together, leading to an increased level of public curiosity in regard to their successful relationship. For anyone who was unaware of what happened in the early days, this recap will allow everyone to know the romantic history between West and Kardashian, so that they can keep track of their relationship, from the very beginning until the ending that no-one yet knows.
