HTC Desire Eye vs OnePlus One Features, Specs, Price, Display and Latest News: A Comprehensive Review and Comparison
Smartphone comparison is generally about the manufacturer's latest gadgets but today we will go through a comparison collected from very different type of origins. One is HTC Desire Eye expected to release in November and another is OnePlus One. Desire Eye is cited as a selfie phone but OnePlus One might not be that popular but that does not mean it does not have an impressive specification. Let's explore the comparison.
The Desire Eye forms an impressive display quality that boosts the attraction towards the phone aside from the selfie phone title. The display is framed with 5.2-inch size that contains 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and eye catching 424 pixels per inch. HTC Sense version 6 will feature the iconic HTC user interface. Other contestant innovates 5.5-inch display screen size that offers same pixel resolution as Desire Eye but lacks the pixel density a bit with 401 pixels per inch. The display type is latest LTPS LCD capacitive touchscreen.
The comparison heats up further more in terms of camera department. Both the devices packs with 13MP rear pack camera while HTC Desire Eye boosts the selfie camera with 13MP sensor. The dual 13MP sensor camera has really shaken the tech world with surprise. OnePlus One bows the head with 5MP front camera sensor but still manages satisfactory results with camera performance.
Differentiating the two devices in terms of hardware specification is a very difficult task as both of them come with similar yet powerful hardware components. The Desire Eye contains Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with Quad-Core 2.3GHz Krait 400 processor. The GPU is adorned with Adreno 330 that performs decently. OnePlus One is almost the same with Desire Eye except for the clock speed, the processor of OnePlus One is clocked at 2.5GHz, which is a bit greater than the Desire Eye.
Desire Eye comes with 16GB internal storage capacity along with 128GB expandable memory facility. OnePlus One comes with two variants containing 16/64GB internal but lacks the extra memory slot. However, OnePlus One is powered by 3GB of RAM while Desire Eye trails with 2GB of RAM. The comparison of these two devices concludes similar type of components specification apart from the camera. However, their prices vary a lot as Desire Eye costs around $675 while OnePlus One takes around $482.
