Taylor Swift New Album '1989' Release, New Interview the 'Shake It Off' Singer Shares on Fear of Album Leaking Early, Watch Here (VIDEO)
Taylor Swift was in Los Angeles on Friday night (Oct 24) to perform for the 2014 We Can Survive Concert at the Hollywood Bowl. That same day her new album 1989 leaked online, which is always one of her biggest fears.
She actually even spoke about it earlier during an interview with Alan Carr:Chatty Man, which you can watch above.
"I don't even want to talk about it," Taylor shared. "I don't trust technology. I don't want to talk about leaks. It freaks me out. I will have a meltdown on the show... I'm not thinking about you. But what about stuff that's recording us all the time."
She spoke on the lengths she went to keep her new tracks secret on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" earlier in the week by keeping them only on her phone and only letting people to listen to them from there.
Fans can purchase Swift's single "Out of the Woods" on iTunes by clicking here. Swift's full album 1989 is scheduled for release on October 27. Swift's first single "Shake It Off" immediately went to No.1 on the Billboard 100.
Taylor shared that the reason for the title was that it is her birth date (December 13, 1989) but also that she likes to have two years in between albums to see her growth in her Yahoo live interview with fans. She shared that her new album would be her first full on pop album and inspired from the music of the 80's that she has been listening to.
Taylor Swift will also be joining "The Voice" Season 7 on NBC next week as the key advisor for this season's 'knockout rounds'. Swift tweeted pictures of herself last month with the judges writing, "Way excited about being a 'key advisor' on @NBCTheVoice. Here are some pics of me and the coaches that I key advised."
Swift will help all four teams as the 'key advisor' in the same role that Coldplay singer Chris Martin did last year in Season 6.
