Windows 9 Release Date and Features: Microsoft Updates
When it comes to finding the right operating system for your computers, two names have ruled this planet since the dawn of technology. Microsoft and Apple have been computer rivals for quite some time now and it's easy to see that what they are trying to ace each other's project by incorporating what's hot in the market.
Recently, Apple came up with its new OS X Yosemite, which is truly advanced in every way and now Microsoft has made an official announcement for its new operating system that was supposed to be called the Windows 9, however, Microsoft chose to ditch that name and rather came up with Windows 10, which perfect competes with OS X (the roman numeral for ten).
Fans eagerly await for its release date expecting that it will be the next big thing that connects all heir devices seamlessly, but rumors suggest that it will only release by the end of 2015 as engineers are still working on it.
On the other hand, features are pretty much known to many experts of the computer technology. They believe that Microsoft wants to build something closer to Windows 7, which offers Search options and easy navigation for all. Connectivity will be a huge thing of the future and Microsoft will certainly look into Apple's idea of making phones work through laptops and desktops. This will include answering call and messaging when phone is around.
A virtual desktop would also be super cool and experts believe that Microsoft Windows 10 will offer even more with the help of new keyboard shortcuts. Easy shortcuts will make way for smooth handling.
Computer history is a great thing. It helps to know what and when you did something recently. Similarly, Microsoft will launch file history that will allow users to take a look at when file was edited, which user did it, and things like that.
Apart from that, Cortana will definitely come to Windows 10 as voice command entices users. It will still be in early stages though, people would like to know about the capabilities of such a system that works as their phone.
