Ellie Goulding Releases 'Beating Heart' Single From 'Divergent' Soundtrack 2014, See Full Tracklist Here (VIDEO)
Divergent movie is set to release to theaters on March 21, but Ellie Goulding is giving fans an early taste of the first of her four tracks that will be on the Divergent soundtrack, releasing the song "Beating Heart" (listen above). The Divergent soundtrack will be available everywhere on March 11th.
The setting for the new film is set in the future in Chicago but the city is divided up into five factions based on people's personality traits. Shailene plays a woman named Beatrice and she does not fit into any of the factions and is considered a "divergent." Divergent stars Shailene Woodley, Kate Winslet, Theo James, and Miles Teller. The movie is based off of author Veronica Roth's books and is a three part series.
Some have made early comparisons to The Hunger Games because of the 3-part nature and young people fighting for their lives in a futuristic society.
