'Nashville' Season 3, Episode 6 Spoilers: Two Men Face Fatherhood, Rayna Goes Against Luke For An Award and Deals With Her Misbehaving Kids
ABC's musical drama is set for another tough and emotional episode tomorrow night. After episode 5 revealed two babies, one of whom is yet to be born, two men are forced to make a decision about fatherhood in "Nashville" Season 3, Episode 6, the International Business Times reported.
Regular viewers will recall that last week's episode unveiled Juliette and Avery's on-the-way child, while Gunnar was surprised after he found out that he is a father to a decade-old child. The two men, played by Jonathan Jackson and Sam Palladio, respectively, will make important fatherhood decisions in the upcoming sixth episode of the third season of "Nashville."
Hayden Panettiere's character, Juliette, will also decide whether or not to include Avery in their child's life. The blossoming star of Nashville fainted last week and because of this, she realized that she cannot be the only parent of the child she has brought into the world with Avery.
In "Nashville" Season 3, episode 6, titled "Nobody Said It Was Going To Be Easy," Juliette will be asking Avery if the latter wants to be part of their baby's life. Avery, on the other hand, seems to be indecisive and, based on ABC's already released trailer, Avery may eventually decide not to play the role of father due to the presence of Noah, played by Derek Hough.
The official release synopsis for "Nashville Season" 3, episode 6, as reported by Hypable, also states that "Gunnar deals with some recent life changing news and seeks advice from Scarlett." After Alexa Pena Vega's character, Kylie, dropped the bomb that stunned Gunner, it is likely that Palladio's character will harbor doubts about being a father to Mika. He will seek advice from Scarlett, but Clara Bowen's character is already preoccupied, writing songs with Terry, the homeless man she met last season.
Rayna, played by Connie Britton, will have to deal with both her motherhood woes and her blossoming character. To add to the challenging mix, the loved star will be nominated for Entertainer of the Year at the Country Music Awards during the episode. Furthermore, her rival for the coveted trophy is her fiancé Luke, played by Will Chase. It is is fair to presume that this situation will add some tension to the couple's relationship.
In addition to the brewing, tense scenes between Rayna and Luke, "Nashville" Season 3, episode 6, will be a problematic chapter for Rayna as a mother. Before the awards night, the singer will find out that her kids, Maddie and Daphne, are not behaving well at home.
Meanwhile, Deacon, Scarlett's uncle, will find his purpose in music through Pam. Pam is the backup singer in Luke's band, and it seems that she is getting involved in a new connection with Charles Esten's character. Sara Evans will also appear in a cameo role in "Nashville" Season 3, episode 6, as she will perform a duet with Luke at the awards night.
Hollywood Hills reported on further guest stars, aside from Evans, who will appear in "Nashville" Season 3, episode 6: Amy Robach as Herself, David Alford as Bucky Dawes, Aubrey Peeples as Layla Grant, Laura Benanti as Sadie Stone, Derek Hough as Noah West, Brette Taylor as Pam York, Mykelti Williamson as Terry, Robin Roberts as Herself, and Ric Reitz as Dr. Richards.
Catch the eventful "Nashville" Season 3, episode 6, tomorrow night, October 29, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
