T. Graham Brown Ecstatic Over Grammy Nomination for "Forever Changed."

Though T. Graham Brown has been singing, recording and touring since the 80s with country hits such as "Don't Go Out" (with Tanya Tucker), "Water into Wine," "Hell and High Water," and many others, he has had never received a Grammy Nomination. But that's all changed for this 60-year-old when Brown's Gospel release "Forever Changed" was nominated for Best Roots Gospel Album this year.
"Good Lord, this is great," Brown said. "It's just a renaissance for me. It's beautiful. My wife and I are really enjoying it."
This year, Brown and his wife will be attending the Grammys regardless of whether they win or not.
Brown made the album on a "tiny, tiny budget" without the pledge of support or distribution from a record label. When he started recording the album, Brown placed a few calls to his famous friends including Vince Gill, Leon Russell, Jason Crabb and The Oak Ridge Boys in the hopes they would lend their voices to his project. They obliged.
Now Provident Distribution will be distributing "Forever Changed" to many Christian bookstores and the album will soon be for sale in Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores.
"It was great fun," he said of the album that includes one of his latest country hits, "Wine into Water." "I just have a lot of good friends. I've made a lot of friends since 1982. It's good to have friends. The whole project is a God thing."
The 57th Grammys will air live from Los Angeles 7 p.m. Sunday on CBS.
