Kody Erwin of the Erwins Tied the Knot

On February 7, 2015, bass singer of Southern Gospel group the Erwins, Kody Erwin tied the knot with Cayla Henderson. Kody's dad and Cayla's pastor officiated the service in beautiful Perkins Chapel on the campus of SMU in Dallas.
Cayla has not only joined the family but will also be working and traveling with them full time. Two days after the wedding, they flew with the family and participated in the IMC/Southwest Gospel Music Festival in Phoenix, Arizona.
The Erwins is one of Southern Gospel's fastest-rising Mixed Groups. The family group includes the distinct standout harmony of four siblings from Edgewood, TX: three brothers, Keith (21), Kody (20) and Kris (18), along with their little sister Katie (13).
"It is common that I hear from the fans about new and upcoming artists, however it is rare that I hear the same name over and over and over," explained Landon Beene, owner of IMC Management and partner with StowTown Records. "At some point, I had to take notice of this amazingly talented family. It only took a short time to fall in love with them and I am so excited to see what doors open up to their music!"
The Erwins have just released their StowTown Records debut "Ready to Sail." This is what we have said about the album: "... the quartet also bring with them a youthful sprightly harmony and bounce that are often missing in most quartet music today. And instead of recycling the same old repertoire again and again, save for one cut, all of these 12 cuts are brand new originals coming from reliable pens such as label honcho Wayne Haun, Sue C. Smith, Joel Lindsey, Tony Wood and others."
