Keith Erwin of the Erwins Weds Lindsey Barefield

Keith Erwin, the lead singer of Gospel group the Erwins, tied the knot with Lindsey Barefield. The wedding, which took place June 13 at the Unity Baptist Church in Ripley, MS, was attended by over 300 close friends and family.
Keith's dad, Evangelist Dennis Erwin, along with Lindsey's uncle, Bro. Ronnie Barefield, officiated the ceremony. The wedding ceremony was also available via "Live Stream" and is archived with over 21,000 views thus far: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/63701973.
During the service, Keith surprised Lindsey with an emotional solo rendition of the Steven Curtis Chapman song, "I Will Be Here". "Lindsey and I had the PERFECT DAY surrounded by our closest friends and family," Keith expressed about the special ceremony, which he hopes symbolized the way they want to live their lives. "We know that God was given the Glory for it all and we can't wait to start serving the Lord on the road as husband and wife."
After graduating from Ole Miss, Lindsey was a Middle School Special Education teacher for the last four years. However, she now plans to be on the bus full-time with The Erwins and may also work on her Masters Degree while traveling. Meanwhile, Keith has been singing with the group since 2011 following his decision to turn down several college basketball scholarships in order to join the family ministry.
One of Southern Gospel's fastest-rising Mixed Groups, The Erwins from Edgewood, TX, released their debut StowTown Records album, Ready To Sail, earlier this year.
