Tullian Tchividjian Is Seeking Counselling with Paul Tripp After Admitting Affair

Evangelist Billy Graham's grandson, Tullian Tchividjian has recently step down from his position as senior church at a mega church in Florida after admitting that both he and his wife were involved in adulterous relationships. Now, the famous preacher and author is seeking counselling from Christian counsellor Dr. Paul Tripp. He will be going on a week-long "intense counselling" with Dr. Paul Tripp in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
"He is seeking God and looking to spend time getting work done on himself," a source close to Tchividjian, who declined to be named, exclusively told The Blaze.
The counselling reportedly started this week, and Tripp will be working closely with Tchividjian to evaluate the root causes of the affairs and seek personal healing. According to the source, Tchividjian has already repented his sins and is "seeking wise biblical counsel" to ensure a lasting positive change in his life. His wife Kim went with him for counselling as well.
This piece of information came just one week after Tchividjian confessed that his marriage with his wife has actually been suffering for the past three months.
"As many of you know, I returned from a trip a few months back and discovered that my wife was having an affair. Heartbroken and devastated, I informed our church leadership and requested a sabbatical to focus exclusively on my marriage and family," he said in a statement to the Washington Post. "As her affair continued, we separated. Sadly and embarrassingly, I subsequently sought comfort in a friend and developed an inappropriate relationship myself.
"Both my wife and I are heartbroken over our actions, and we ask you to pray for us and our family that God would give us the grace we need to weather this heart-wrenching storm," he further said. "We are amazingly grateful for the team of men and women who are committed to walking this difficult path with us
