Gail Shelby of Eternal Vision Has Passed Away

Gail Shelby of the Southern Gospel group Eternal Vision from Knoxville, TN has passed away on New Years Day. Gail suffered from a respiratory disease for several years , but is now in the arms of her Savior, whom she trusted through her courageous battle against this terrible disease.
Gail together with her husband Mike and their son Shannon, Stuart Stallings and Sam King form Eternal Vision. Originally the bass guitarist for the group, she stepped up to take over the alto/tenor vocals for the group in 1998.
The daughter of a Baptist minister, she grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her beautifully smooth voice give her solos a uniquely soulful quality. Gail has a natural ability to "connect" with an audience and brings a unique "female" perspective to the quartet. In addition to her singing duties, Gail also handles all the book-keeping and booking responsibilities for the ministry. Additionally, Gail is a professional photographer and owns and operates Vision Photography out of her studio in Knoxville, TN. Just a few of her notable clients are Triumphant Quartet, Naomi and the Segos, and The Talley Trio just to name a few. Gail is also the co-host of The Mull's Singing Convention which has aired every Sunday morning for 57 years in Knoxville, TN. The Mull's Singing Convention is the longest running locally produced television program in the country.
