Meghan Trainor Joins Brett Eldredge on His New Christmas Album "Glow"

Brett Eldredge is ready to spread the joy of Christmas with his new album, Glow, set to release this October! Glow showcases Eldredge's powerful vocals on timeless Christmas standards and will feature a special duet with the 2016 GRAMMY winner for Best New Artist, Meghan Trainor. The album also shares its name with an original track he wrote to capture that warm, holiday feeling.
"I originally had the idea for a song called 'Glow' as the vision of someone you love, making your whole world light up," says Eldredge. "It captures the simplicity of sitting next to the dimly lit Christmas tree and watching her glow in the lights. There's a line where I compare that to the image of 'sunshine over a field of snow.' I grew up in Illinois and there's no mistaking the beauty of the countryside with covered in snow. And I always try and compare those beautiful things in life to love. I always had this vision of a really bright album, making your whole heart and soul glow and I just feel like I can see this album standing out, glowing, to everyone. I always use the word magic when it comes to Christmas, but that's the feeling that Glow gives me when I hear it. So it just seemed like the perfect title for a Christmas album."
Brett has been a huge fan of Christmas from a young age and always dreamed of making his own record of holiday classics. With the help of producers Rob Mounsey (Elton John, James Taylor, Idina Menzel, Michael Bublé) and Jay Newland (Etta James, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton), his dream has finally become a reality. The album was recorded at the legendary Avatar Studios in New York which has hosted many iconic artists including Bob Dylan, Tony Bennett, Bruce Springsteen, John Lennon, Billy Joel, Iggy Pop, Madonna and David Bowie.
Brett Eldredge's current album Illinois has already garnered two No. 1 singles and his third single, "Wanna Be That Song" is rapidly approaching Top 20. Fans can catch him out the road with Keith Urban for his ripCord world tour with dates running through November.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates about Glow in the near future!
