Kenny Lewis' "Refocus" is Now Available

"We need to refocus on the things of God, the things that are important to Him. All attention should be on Him and when it is, He will lead us in the right direction," says Kenny Lewis about the theme of his latest album, Refocus, which is available now.
The 10-track album features songs of praise, encouragement and hope. Standout tracks include "Bless the Lord", a driving up-tempo song with a big band feel; a reinterpretation of Percy Bady's "He'll Make It Alright"; "Defeated", which features the powerhouse vocals of Lisa Knowles, and "Romans 8:28" featuring Zacardi Cortez. Based on one of his favorite scriptures, "Romans 8:28" is a song of pure encouragement, something that this artist is determined to share with God's people.
The lead single, "Love Song", was written and produced by Lewis. It is a sweet song unto the Lord, penned from the heart of a worshipper. "In this season of chaos, I believe the saint's job is to love God," says Lewis. "The song is a really simple message to God. Love is a simple concept; it's important that everyone understands the message. You don't need to be a biblical scholar to understand the simplicity of loving God." A captivating performance video for "Love Song" can be viewed now on the group's YouTube Channel à Love Song Video.
"One of the reasons I named the new project Refocus is because I feel we are distracted," shares Kenny. "We need to refocus on the things of God, the things that are important to Him. All attention should be on Him and when it is, He will lead us in the right direction".
Kenny Lewis will host a live recording on May 27th in Chicago, and partial proceeds will be donated to the Chicago Public School system.
Refocus is available now at all digital music outlets.
