Jeremy Lin Tweets Knee Injury Update: “God is Always Faithful and in Control”

NBA star Jeremy Lin has taken to social media to share updates about his knee injury that unexpectedly ended his NBA season.
Last week, the Brooklyn Nets point guard received a diagnosis pointing to a ruptured patella tendon of the right knee that required surgery. Now, Lin is voicing out his optimism about the ordeal.
"Gods ALWAYS faithful and in control," he tweeted.
In a later post on Instagram, Lin thanked his family, friends, and fans who have offered their support throughout his injury. "THANKS for all the love!! For real I've been blown away with the support," Lin wrote. "The road to recovery starts now..." He concluded his post with the hashtag, "#doasyoumayLord."

As reported by CBS Sports, Lin was expected to play a huge role in the Brooklyn Nets’ season. Unfortunately, his knee injury had put an end to his 2017-2018 season even before it began.
"The injury occurred during the fourth quarter of last night's game at Indiana. Lin is expected to miss the entire 2017-18 season. Further updates will be made available at a later time,” the Nets officially announced.
Nets General Manager Sean Marks also spoke of the Christian athlete’s role in the team, saying: "Jeremy worked tremendously hard during the offseason and in training camp and was excited for the prospects of the team this season… Jeremy remains an important part of this team and will continue to contribute in a leadership role."
After being sidelined multiple times last season as caused by hamstring injuries, Lin shared how he prayed to God and how he learned much from Him about humility and thankfulness given his physical challenges.
