Charles F. Stanley and Thomas Nelson Celebrate 1 Million Bibles Sold

On Thursday, December 14, 2017, Thomas Nelson celebrated with renowned pastor Dr. Charles F. Stanley the millions of lives impacted by his ministry and by The Charles F. Stanley Life Principles Bible.
Members of the Thomas Nelson publishing team, including Daniel Marrs, associate publisher, Nikki Getman, senior marketing director, and Beth Ryan, senior sales director, presented Dr. Stanley with premium leather editions of The Charles F. Stanley Life Principles Bible in a beautiful presentation case. The presentation was made at the chapel service at In Touch Ministries on Thursday, December 14.
During his many years of ministry, Dr. Stanley has faithfully highlighted the 30 Life Principles that have guided him and helped him grow in his knowledge, service, and love of God. In The Charles F. Stanley Life Principles Bible, readers can explore each of these principles in depth, learning how to make them a part of everyday life and growing in their relationship to God. The Charles F. Stanley Life Principle Bible is available in the New King James Version, the New American Standard Bible, and the New International Version.
"Dr. Stanley has ministered to so many people through the best-selling Life Principles Bible, with its unique features designed to lead believers into a life-changing relationship with Jesus," says Daniel Marrs, associate publisher for Thomas Nelson Bibles. "We are thrilled to partner with Dr. Stanley and In Touch Ministries and to celebrate with them the millions of lives that have been changed worldwide."
"My heart's desire is to get the gospel to 'as many people as possible, as quickly as possible, as clearly as possible, as irresistibly as possible, through the power of the Holy Spirit to the glory of God,'" says Dr. Stanley.
Dr. Stanley says his motivation is best represented by the truth found in Acts 20:24: "Life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus-the work of telling others the Good News about God's mighty kindness and love." This is because, as he says, "It is the Word of God and the work of God that changes people's lives."
