RCA Inspiration Celebrates Four #1 Records with Koryn Hawthorne & Jason Nelson

Following the celebration of three 2018 BET Awards nominations, RCA Inspiration continues to excel with four #1s on the latest charts this week - with Jason Nelson's new album The Answer debuting at #1 on the Nielsen Gospel Total Consumption Chart and #1 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums Chart - as well as Koryn Hawthorne's hit single "Won't He Do It" at #1 on the MediaBase Gospel Chart, and #1 on the Nielsen BDS Gospel National Airplay Chart for 6 weeks overall. "Won't He Do It" has also held the position of #1 for 11 weeks on Billboard's Hot Gospel Song Chart.
Released on May 18th, The Answer marks chart-topping, Stellar Award-winning recording artist, songwriter, and producer Jason Nelson's fifth solo album, and his second consecutive #1 debut on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums Chart. The album features the poignant song "Forever", which was inspired by his wife of 21 years, Tonya Nelson. Led by the live hit single "Forever," and songs such as "You've Got Me" (feat. Maranda Curtis), "Never Go A Day," "In the Room," "Captured My Heart," and "Faith For That" (feat. Jonathan Nelson), Jason's album delivers a combination of live worship and studio tracks that provide invigorating energy and messages of hope, strength, and comfort.
With her spirited charm and prodigious vocals, Koryn Hawthorne has captured attention with her catchy single "Won't He Do It" which is the lead single on her forthcoming debut album UNSTOPPABLE, releasing everywhere on July 13th. Koryn, a fan favorite and finalist from Season 8 of The Voice, has taken the world by storm with her talents over the past year, including an appearance on the second season of OWN TV's Greenleaf, 2 Stellar Awards nominations for New Artist of the Year and Contemporary Female Vocalist of the Year, in addition to upcoming live performances touring the country on the Summer Lights Tour.
