Jesse Pruett to Guest on 'The Song Revolution Podcast' on June 16

Multi-focused recording artist, worship leader, recording artist, songwriter and actor Jesse Pruett is set to appear as a guest on the Nashville Christian Songwriters (NCS) influential podcast, The Song Revolution Podcast, where he will discuss his latest CD, The Journey, as well as writing songs for Hollywood movies. The Song Revolution Podcast is slated to air onSaturday, June 16, 2018, on onejamnationradio.com, iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, podbay.fm,stitcher.com, Libsyn.com, and nashvillechristiansongwriters.com.
"I have a passion for writing songs that reach people right where they are," says Pruett. "More so, perhaps, than any other medium, words from song lyrics can stick with a person for the rest of his or her life. My hope for the lyrics I write is that they will draw people closer to God, uplift them, help them get through tough times, or bring peace and joy to their soul by praising God. Speaking with John from NCS was encouraging and inspiring. I love his heart for Jesus and how he wants to help Christian songwriters grow both spiritually and professionally. We can all continue to learn from each other, and NCS is a great tool and place to meet other songwriters and gain new knowledge."
"Jesse Pruett came on the podcast as an interviewee and left it as a great new friend," says John Chisum, founder and managing partner of Nashville Christian Songwriters. "This guy isn't just immensely gifted as a songwriter, actor, and worship leader...he's an authentic Jesus follower we will be watching closely for years to come as he mines the depths of the talents and opportunities God has given him. Can't wait to have him on the show again!"
Pruett is no stranger to the film industry, having appeared in more than 20 films alongside such established actors as Robert De Niro, Sylvester Stallone, Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson, Liam Hemsworth, and John Cusack, as well as six film roles opposite superstar Bruce Willis. Pruett is also active behind the camera. He has scored two films do date, and currently has music credits on 30+ film and television projects.
A number of Pruett's songs have been cropping up recently on animated feature films from home entertainment media giant Lionsgate Entertainment, including "Beautiful," from Pruett's CD, The Journey. "Beautiful" is featured prominently in Lionsgate's DVD of the delightful, newly reimagined animated family film, Pinocchio, which released to online and brick-and-mortar retailers on April 10, 2018. Pruett is currently touring in support of his latest CD, The Journey. For more information on Pruett and The Journey, visit jessepruett.com.
