Lauren Daigle's 'Look Up Child' Debuts With Biggest Sales Week for a Christian Music Album in Nearly Nine Years

Lauren Daigle's brand new album Look Up Child debuts at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart. And it also caused a stir as the album enter's Billboard's Top 200 at #3. The album moved 115,000 equivalent album units and that's the largest overall week for a Christian music album in 2018, and the biggest for any Christian set since the charts began ranking albums by equivalent album units in late 2014.
Of Daigle's unit start, 103,000 are in traditional album sales - Daigle's best sales week and the biggest sales frame for a Christian album in nearly nine years. The last Christian set to sell more copies in a single week was Casting Crowns' Until the Whole World Hears (167,000; Dec. 5, 2009-dated chart).
Lauren will embark on her first headlining theatre tour in support of Look Up Child on September 27th. Presented by Food for the Hungry, the tour will kick off in Cincinnati and will make 40 stops throughout the US, including 17 sold out dates, before wrapping with two Nashville performances at the historic Ryman Auditorium in March 2019. Her ability to connect with her audience has captured critical acclaim and recognition as the fastest-selling new artist for her genre of the last decade. Her debut album, How Can It Be, was certified platinum by the RIAA and produced three certified Gold singles.
