Anita Faye Reflects on Busy 2018, Looks Forward to Productive 2019

Multi-talented singer/songwriter Anita Faye stayed busy in 2018, most notably promoting her long-awaited full length CD, Kingdom Journey, which released to retail in September 2018 from NiNiTunes.
The 13-track project, which runs the stylistic gamut from smooth jazz, to bouncy hip hop, to swaying reggae, featured the radio single, "All of the Above" (Faye's collaboration with Grammy Award winner Betty Wright), and "Angels in Heaven (Vegas Strong)," a tribute to the resilient spirit of the people and city of Las Vegas, Nevada, written by Faye and her husband Robby following the tragic mass shooting that rocked that city in October 2017.
With her radio single debuting at Number 6 on Gospel USA Magazine's Top 30 Independent Gospel Songs Chart, Faye found herself in demand for interviews on a number of influential radio shows, including Boston's WEZE AM, Detroit's WHFR FM, and Nashville's WFSK FM, as well as various media outlets.
She also maintained a steady performance schedule, taking the stage at the Dancing the Truth in Love concert at the historic Strand Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts; the Church of God in Christ Convocation in St. Louis, Missouri; the Zappos Corporate Challenge in her home town of Las Vegas, Nevada; and performing for Motown founder Berry Gordy and his daughter Sherry Gordy at her private birthday party, among other appearances.
"I was so proud to have Anita as my guest at my father's house to sing at my party. Anita had everyone crying," says Sherry Gordy. "I first met Anita Faye many years ago on my show, Sherry Gordy Presents Take The Stage Inspired by Motown, and I instantly fell in love with her and her voice. Every time I hear her sing, it brings tears to my eyes and joy to my heart. Her vocal style is magical and gives me goosebumps. I have to say, she is my favorite gospel singer ever. I love, love, love Anita Faye."
"2018 was a year of learning and growing in the Lord," says Faye. "I had the opportunity to meet and share my heart with so many wonderful people. I'm looking forward to 2019 to see what the Lord has in store for the next step on my journey!"
Faye's recently-released project, the 13 song CD, Kingdom Journey, is available from major online retailers including iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, and Google Play. For more information on Anita Faye and Kingdom Journey, visit anitafaye.com.
