Jillian Edwards, Daughter-in-Law of Steven Curtis Chapman, Signs with The Stable Collective

Jillian Edwards, the daughter-in-law of CCM veteran Steven Curtis Chapman, has signed with The Stable Collective. The Stable Collective is a business venture between multi-GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Steven Curtis Chapman and artist manager Mark Mattingly that formed in 2017. At the company's conception, its goals included working with both emerging and developed artists, and Edwards is a great addition to the roster.
"The first time I heard Jillian's pure sweet voice I felt like I was looking straight into her heart...and from the songs she wrote and the way she told her stories I could tell it was a beautiful place. I'm so excited to have Jillian as our newest artist signed on to The Stable Collective roster. I truly believe God has entrusted her with a remarkable gift to share with the world, and we are very honored to have the opportunity to serve her and her gift." -Steven Curtis Chapman
Originally from Dallas, TX, Edwards has a sound influenced by artists such as Alison Krauss, Patty Griffin, and Mindy Smith. Her debut EP was released in 2009, followed by her second release in 2011 that held the No. 1 spot on the singer/songwriter charts for its entire release week. In 2014, Edwards released her project, Daydream, which charted at No. 6 on the Billboard New Artist Chart its first week out and No. 1 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter Chart. Additionally, Ryan Seacrest premiered the song "Gotta Have You" on his radio program, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, sharing Edwards' music with his millions of listeners around the world.
Edwards is also signed with Concord Music Publishing and has had original songs on television series including ABC's Pretty Little Liars and Grey's Anatomy, CMT's Nashville, and most recently the movie A Dog's Way Home. She has opened for a variety of talented artists over the last few years, including Jon Foreman, Drew & Ellie Holcomb, Josh Garrels, Ben Rector, David Ramirez, The Civil Wars, and more.
"Both having roots in Texas, I've known about Jillian's music for 10 years now. Through the years we've gotten together to dream and talk about ideas, but never on a formal level. This is such exciting news for us as a team to have her as a client. She's an incredible talent, and it is a true honor to be in business with her." -Mark Mattingly
Fans can hear Edwards on tour this holiday season with Steven Curtis Chapman on the Acoustic Christmas Tour.
