InSalvation Releases their Fourth Single "Exodus"

Dutch worship band InSalvation has released their fourth single "Exodus" (written by Jafeth Bekx, Andy Stuijfzand, Tom Smith and Kees Kraayenoord). The song speaks of how Jesus Christ brings out of the exodus of sin and death, the way Moses led Israel out of Egypt. The music video for 'Exodus' premiered on Integrity Music's YouTube channel. The new album 'Exodus' releases February 7, 2020 through Integrity Music.
The song was written as a declaration of faith to follow God's promises wherever they lead, mirroring Israel's journey from the bondage of Egypt to following God's Word towards the promised land. "Everybody has an 'Egypt' in their life," says lead singer Jafeth Bekx, "We can leave it behind and join as one people, making our way to the land and the future that is promised to us."
The video for 'Exodus' contains footage shot at the North Sea, referencing the waves of life that seem to often block our path and rock our foundations. The song is an ode to rise above, encouraging believers to follow the promise of God and embrace the freedom that lies ahead. Sonically, the single also makes a bold statement with punchy EDM beats and a modern expression of worship that made heads turn since InSalvation's start.
InSalvation have become a solid part of the Christian worship landscape in the Netherlands since their beginning in 2006. Beyond a passionate worship band, they are the motor of a movement pursuing worship, justice and equipping the younger generation to live a life of dedication to Jesus. InSalvation's heart is to worship God and celebrate His presence collectively with the aim of bringing the change experienced in that context to the world.
The energetic pop-infused rock band is known for songs like 'Fill This House with Your Glory', 'Neon', 'Power in the Blood' and 'God Who Saves'. They regularly play at different Christian festivals, such as Opwekking, and are internationally oriented with a strong missionary focus on Europe. With a backbone of live experiences in Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria and Romania among others, the band understand that worship transcends language and culture. InSalvation released three albums so far: 'Passionate Worship' (2011), 'God Is' (2013) and 'Neon' (2017).
InSalvation is made of six dedicated and passionate members: Jafeth and Sifra Bekx, Andy Stuijfzand, Tanja van Schuylenburg, Henny Mugge and Hanjo Fisser.

Lyrics:
We were bounded by captivity
Hope was lost, we forgot our dreams
But at your word you will set us free
You restore what was meant to be
You split the sea and you made a way
Now we're dancing off these rugged chains
On this road to the promised land
By the power of your mighty hand
This is the day, this is the time for freedom
Putting down the old for new
This is the time for freedom
We will follow you
We will follow you
This is our exodus
Your glory shines and you keep us safe
A pillar by night and a cloud by day
You never fail, your word is truth
And we move as your spirit moves
This is the day, this is the time for freedom
Putting down the old for new
This is the time for freedom
We will follow you
We will follow you
We will follow you
We will follow you
This is our exodus
We will never forget
The promise of the Lord
Who goes before us now
To lead us home
We will never forget
The promise of the Lord
Who goes before us now
To lead us home
(Putting down the old)
This is the day, this is the time for freedom
Putting down the old for new
This is the time for freedom
We will follow you
We will follow you
We will follow you
Yes we will
We will follow you
Jesus
