Kobe Bryant’s Wife Vanessa “Can Hardly Keep It Together”

Kobe Bryant's wife, Vanessa, is struggling to "keep it together." NBA legend Kobe Bryant and one of his daughters were among nine people killed Sunday in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California.. Bryant was 41.
'It's an extremely difficult and devastating time for Vanessa and the whole family,' a source told People.
Another insider told PEOPLE the 37-year-old widow is "devastated," explaining that "She can hardly keep it together. She can't finish a sentence without crying. But she is working very hard to pull it together for the other girls. She now has to be the strong one." She's also relying on her faith to get her through such difficult times.
Vanessa has three surviving daughters with Kobe: Natalia, 17, Bianka, 3, and Capri, 7 months.
Kobe's surviving daughters are reeling, too, the sources said. "He had a special bond with each of them,'' another friend said of Kobe and his kids. He was "so proud to see [them] take after not only him and Vanessa but also grow into their own."
A few hours before Kobe Bryant's life was cut short in a helicopter crash, the NBA legend went to church and prayed. He visited Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Newport Beach, California early Sunday morning ahead of the 7 a.m. mass, according to Father Steve Sallot."We shook hands, I saw that he had blessed himself because there was a little holy water on his forehead," Sallot told CNN affiliate KCBS/KCAL.
Another insider said Vanessa is completely 'devastated' and can 'hardly keep it together'.
