Sting Posts Cryptic Date – Will He Return on Monday’s Raw?

On Tuesday afternoon, Sting (aka Steve Borden) posted "07.14.14" on his Twitter account. And he also changed his profile photo to one which shows a dark background with a silhouette of his face in signature battle paint. What do they mean? Speculations abound.
Some say "07.14.14" or July 14, which is this Monday, is the date when the 55-year old ring icon will make his first appearance as part of the WWE franchise. On Monday nights, we of course have WWE Raw. For this next episode, Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia, is the designated venue for the weekly WWE event. Will those who will buy tickets for the show get to see Sting live and in person? Or will they just get to go home feeling silly and disappointed for having imputing something on the "07.14.14" tweet that was not really there?
Then again, others say that the cryptic "07.14.14" tweet may simply have something to do with the official announcement of the release of the latest WWE 2K15 video game which will feature John Cena on the cover. Sting was earlier filmed by 2K for a commercial for that game. Who knows, perhaps his commercial will just be first aired on this coming Monday.
Whichever way it'll go, the fact remains that a mere line of tweet from Sting was all it took to get the entire pro wrestling fan community excited and hungry for more. So who is Sting? Just the greatest superstar who never got to wrestle in a WWE ring.
