Bright City Releases Second Single "Christ In Me" from Upcoming Album

Brighton worship movement Bright City releases second single 'Christ In Me,' reminding our hearts of the undeniable beauty and grace found in reflecting on Jesus' life laid down for us. Meaningful in the run up to Easter, the single is also timely in the challenging circumstances we are facing worldwide at this moment.
Recorded live on the 10th anniversary of St. Peter's Brighton, 'Christ In Me' captures the powerful essence of Jesus being at home in us, both as individuals and the Church. Bright City's worship pastor, Paul Nelson, explains that 'Christ In Me' is rooted in the fact that the message of the Gospel has to remain central to worship.
"We have to keep writing songs, and singing about the saving work of Jesus - His death on a cross and His resurrection," he continues.
"It was love that held You there upon the cross
It was love that led You to the grave...
It was love that poured into Your lifeless lungs
It was love that raised You from the grave"
"We will never stop singing about that," Paul concludes. Because Jesus died to save us and He rose to raise us, we are forgiven, set free, secure in His love, and have an everlasting hope.
"We wanted to write a simple worship song that declared the power and the promise of Christ in us." - Bright City
