Industry Vets Host New "Everything BUT The Show" Podcast

Christian music industry veterans Eric Kilby and Mike Jay have announced Everything BUT The Show, a podcast that shares, literally, everything but the show. Each week, in-depth stories will be heard about touring, life behind the scenes on the road, what it takes to put on a show, along with so much more about the touring life as well as the music industry.
Everything BUT The Show was created by Kilby and Jay, who also co-host the podcast. Their debut episode dropped June 2nd and is now available on all digital platforms.
Mike Jay, who is an artist manager and co-owns Proper Management, and Eric Kilby, who oversees tour operations for Compassion LIVE, bring more than 45 years of combined experience within the music industry. It is their hope that each podcast episode will educate, entertain, and also encourage the listeners while sharing some unique stories and advice along the way. Everything BUT The Show is catered for both the industry and the music fans, bringing every listener behind the curtain to hear stories about what it takes to put on a show while also sharing tips and strategies they have learned along the way to create a successful road map for the touring life.
Kilby and Jay will welcome a guest for each episode of Everything BUT The Show, interviewing people from all aspects of the touring industry. Such featured guests will range from promoters, booking agents, artist managers, vocal coaches, caterers, crew members, production assistants, musicians, and more. The first episode features Roy Morgan of Premier Productions, one of the entertainment industry's top production companies.
"I am personally so excited about this show," Eric Kilby shares. "We will get the opportunity and privilege to sit around the table with experts from every angle of the touring community. The lessons learned, the stories we all share, and some invaluable takeaways from each guest just refresh and bring so much joy to me. To be on this journey alongside Mike Jay, someone I greatly admire and respect is just icing on the cake. I hope and pray this will spark healthy conversation, will pour into, and give a little something back to the music industry that we both love. Everything BUT The Show is truly a dream come true!"
"I think what Eric and Mike have created with their podcast is incredible and also very needed," shares Roy Morgan, Owner of Premier Productions. "The episodes are going to be very educational for the listeners and it's an honor to be their first guest!"
