Star Wars 7 Casts Two Major Roles to Film Industry Newcomers, Chrystal Clarke and Pip Anderson
Apparently Star Wars 7 has been slated to hit the big screen by December 18th which is the new release date according to Lucas Films. The film is currently undergoing shooting at Pinewood studios in London after finishing up in Abu Dhabi. Last year, Lucas Films and Disney invited all actors and actresses available for a casting call for roles in the J .J Abrams' flick, Star Wars Episode VII. After an arduous process the producers are delighted to say that they have found the undiscovered talent they were looking for and it was quite a needle in a haystack. To be precise, about 37,000 people attended the casting call and only 2 of them were chosen.
Chrystal Clarke happens to be an American actress who is currently taking her studies in Glasgow and has seen both stage as well as screen acting experience which is quite an advantage. The second role was given to Pip Anderson who is a British actor, and has incredible grace and agility both on stage and on the screen. He even participated in a Spiderman stunt which was sponsored by Sony. The information about the roles they will be playing has been kept to the bare minimum for obvious security reasons but the main gist is that Chrystal will probably be playing Rachel while Pip will be playing Thomas.
Rachel is described as a character that is street smart and is a natural beauty, wile Thomas is a boy that grew up fatherless without a role model that he can anchor himself toward. As a result, he does not have the strongest sense of what he is and will either learn or perish. As concerns film experience, the two of them are not the number one draft pick but they have the potential and that is all that Lucas films wants at the moment. Though, Chrystal is set to debut in the upcoming fantasy flick, the moon and the sun, directed by Sean McNamara.
