TobyMac, Amy Grant, Mandisa, Lauren Daigle, for KING & COUNTRY & Others to Appear in "THE JESUS MUSIC"

TobyMac, Steven Curtis Chapman, Amy Grant, Mandisa, Lauren Daigle, for KING & COUNTRY, Michael Tait, Kirk Franklin, Chris Tomlin and many others will be featured in the new DocuFilm THE JESUS MUSIC. The movie will be released on the big screens on October 1st.
Directed by the Erwin Brothers ("I Can Only Imagine," "I Still Believe", "American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story"), THE JESUS MUSIC re-tells the story of the rise of CCM. The movie will feature key interviews with the genre's biggest stars including Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, TobyMac, Kirk Franklin, and Lauren Daigle. With stories of trials and triumphs, the universal power of music from these artists shine through from their messages of passion, sacrifice, and redemption that inspire millions of devoted listeners.
Amy Grant wrote, "A lot of hymns are close-your-eyes singing to God, I wanted to sing with my eyes wide open, singing to each other. THE JESUS MUSIC-the soundtrack to a movement-only in theaters Oct. 1."
The movie is based on the book The Jesus Music: A Visual Story of Redemption as Told by Those Who Lived It wriitten by Marshall Terrill. The 4-color, visual companion to the documentary film of the same name, The Jesus Music brings the history of a movement to life. Featuring Contemporary Christian Music artists across five decades, readers will experience the story that has united and changed the lives of people around the world.
