Celtic Worship Shares the Story Behind their Recording of the Hymn "Because He Lives"

Scottish folk band Celtic Worship release their third single, "Because He Lives," today with Integrity Music. The song will be featured on the group's anticipated new album, titled Morningtide, set to release this fall.
This hymn has a special place in the band's story, particularly for frontman Steph Macleod. Having given him strength in both life and in his recovery journey, 'Because He Lives' is a song that reaches the soul, speaking words of life when all else is dead and dry. Steph shares his experience of coming to Christ, "I'll never forget the words I prayed to Jesus that evening: "Lord... I just want a life worth living. If that means following you, then I'm in all the way!"
The words to 'Because He Lives' appeared on the screen when he attended church a week later... And life is worth livingJust because He lives! The new Celtic Worship single encourages us to face everyday with a smile knowing that life is worth living. Jesus our Saviour lives!
With a unique approach to worship, Celtic Worship offers songs celebrating the multifaceted beauty of the Kingdom of God while blending traditional and contemporary Christian music with their native sonorities.
