Here Are the Lyrics & Audio of Dante Bowe's "Nail Scarred Hands"

In time for Easter, multi-platinum selling performer and award-winning songwriter Dante Bowe has released his brand new single "Nail Scarred Hands." Written by Dante Bowe, Chuck Butler, Ethan Hulse and released by Bethel Music, the song speaks about how Christ's sacrifice has set us free frpm our stories of failures and imprisonment.
Known for his distinctive raspy vocals, Bowe won his first Dove Award at the 52nd GMA Dove Awards for Contemporary Gospel Recorded Song of the Year for "joyful." The award-winning songwriter made history with "joyful" again and became the first artist to have his song chart on both the Billboard's Gospel Airplay and Christian Song charts, bridging the gap between Gospel and CCM formats.
Here are the lyrics:
[Verse 1]
My past became my prison
Love was waiting with the key
My story was my failure
Now my story is redeemed, oh
[Chorus]
My freedom's written in Your nail-scarred hands
Where there was sin and shame, the Cross now stands
The Grim no longer tells me who I am
'Cause my freedom's written in Your nail-scarred hands, oh
[Verse 2]
Your blood has paid my ransom
Your wounds have made me whole
Now everyday is brighter, oh
Your love's a miracle
[Chorus]
My freedom's written in Your nail-scarred hands
Where there was sin and shame, the Cross now stands
The Grim no longer tells me who I am
My freedom's written in Your nail-scarred hands
[Bridge]
I'm alive, I'm alive
Yes, I'm free indeed
I'm alive, I'm alive
You resurrected me
I'm alive, I'm alive
O Death, where is your sting?
I'm alive, I'm alive
I'm claiming victory
[Chorus]
My freedom's written in Your nail-scarred hands
Where there was sin and shame, the Cross now stands
Their grip no longer tells me who I am
My freedom's written in Your nail-scarred hands, oh
My freedom's written in Your nail-scarred hands
My freedom's written in Your nail-scarred hands
Where there was sin and shame, the Cross now stands
The Grim no longer tells me who I am
'Cause my freedom's written in those nail-scarred hands
