Micah Tyler Reveals that His Brother's Cancer is Back

Fair Trade Services' chart-topping artist Micah Tyler reveals that his brother Daniel Begnaud's colon cancer has recurred. He should be starting chemotherapy next week. Please be in prayer for him, his wife Hannah, their kiddos Luke and Ava as we trust for the Lord's hand to move in mercy.
Daniel himself lists down a few prayer items for us to pray for:
- Pray for Hannah, Luke, and Ava. Hannah is tough, but this is obviously hard on her. Luke was 1 during my first battle, and 4 during my second. He's likely to be more keen that dad is struggling, plus I don't want to miss any of his school/extra curricular activities. Pray that he and Ava both navigate this season well.
- Pray that this cancer is only in my colon. Dr. Rowe believes that if it's contained there, the chemo shouldn't be as severe and there's a chance surgery won't be needed. I should get these results after the colonoscopy which will hopefully happen in the next few weeks.
- Pray for Dr. Rowe and the medical team at Memorial Hermann. She has been with us since the beginning of all this, and God has used her to lead us through these rough waters.
- Pray for our ministry. I have loved taking on new leadership opportunities at Central these last few months, and the last thing I want is for anything to slack. We have an amazing staff and a church full of people willing to step up. The summer is usually the busiest time for youth ministry, so pray that we can continue on with our plans and see students made different and make a difference.
Tyler is a singer, songwriter and worship leader from Buna, Texas. Following two independent releases, he debuted the EP Different (2016) and the LP of the same name under Fair Trade Services. With three No. 1 radio hits to his name, Tyler has numerous other achievements such as a GMA Dove Awards New Artist of the Year nominee (and two other GMA Dove Award nods), is a K-LOVE Fan Awards Breakout Single nominee, has two BMI song awards, and was GMA's Immerse Conference Male Vocalist of the Year (2012). He has toured with MercyMe, Crowder, Jeremy Camp, Phil Wickham, We Are Messengers, Big Daddy Weave, and more.
After having served as a youth pastor for over a decade, Micah Tyler has a true love and respect for the local church.
