Corey Voss Bears His Soul on the Vulnerable New EP "Looking for the Light"

Tennessee-based worship leader and songwriter Corey Voss returns with a brand new EP today. Looking for the Light features four brand new worship songs, including "Hold On" a song that is gaining traction with radio.
Voss speaks of the new record, "I've been sitting with these songs for a while now and to be honest I've been nervous to release this project because it's not what people are accustomed to hearing from me...(a studio project rather than live). It's a side of worship I've wanted to explore for a long time. I've asked myself and the Lord a lot of questions and wondered how it would be received. It's been a vulnerable process!
"Not only is this project important for my own journey of healing from a hard season but I believe God is going to use it to breathe hope into people who have had the wind knocked out of them. I'm praying that it speaks to those who have felt crushed by their season of life. I've wanted to be of help to those who don't know where their feet are going to land and who are trusting God for a new beginning. So here comes LOOKING FOR THE LIGHT."
Voss serves as Worship & Creative Arts Pastor for Gateway Church, Shelbyville. He is a member of the All About Worship collective and wrote for/appears on AAW's album My Pursuit. His songs include "Praise The King" (Jaci Velasquez), "Psalm 92 (O Most High)" and "We Come To You Jesus," (co-writes with Paul Baloche), "Nothing But The Blood" and the Selah-recorded single "I Got Saved." Corey has also written and recorded with Michael Farren, Lauren Daigle, Jared Anderson and Dustin Smith.
