Worship Collective FAITHFUL's "Take Off Running" Finds its Inspiration in Psalm 119

After their successful launch with album "Go and Speak" in 2021, FAITHFUL unveils the first single off their anticipated new album. With this new project, the all-female creative community of artists, musicians, and authors hope to bring the Psalms - specifically Psalms of action - to life, exploring the imagery of motherhood and womanhood throughout.
Titled "Take Off Running," the new single is a bright acoustic track led by Stellar Award and GMA Dove Award-nominated artist Janice Gaines, who is joined by Leslie Jordan (Grammy nominated artist) and Rachael Lampa (Dove Award and KLOVE Fan Award Winner.) The combination of their voices, a catchy hook, and subtle gang vocals in the background kick off this new chapter with a highly communal sounding release, highlighting FAITHFUL's collective and charismatic appeal.
Inspired by Psalm 119:33-48, the song carries FAITHFUL's conviction that God's love for women is a wide and open space, where they are not only safe but encouraged to "take off running." This introductory song communicates their desire to build a community that not only reveals, but encourages God spaces in which women can, as written in Acts 17:28, "live, and move, and have [their] being."
