Check Out Billy Powell's New Single "No Christmas Without You"
Following the recent release of his latest EP, THE INVITATION, musician and producer William A. Powell (Billy Powell) continues his musical mission through the holiday season with a new Christmas single, "No Christmas Without You."
"I wrote this song with a dual purpose in mind," Billy states. "First, unto the Lord to let Him know that despite what the world does the true reason for the season is not lost, and that there is no Christmas without Him. Then, to encourage people worldwide to redirect their focus from the season's commercialism and acknowledge the same message - that there is no Christmas without Jesus!"
"No Christmas Without You" is an urban inspirational track powered by the ingenious creativity of Powell's music artistry and his love for Rap and CHH.
Billy is a cancer survivor and sadly lost his wife, Joi Nicole, to cancer earlier this year. In faith and strength, he is merging his music and his foundation, The Allen Nicole Foundation, to create his Music and Health Concert Series in partnership with Be The Match®, the global leader in bone marrow transplantation.
His next concert in the series is Celebrate The Gift Concert, an organ donation awareness and Christmas toy giveaway event on Saturday, December 16. The concert will take place at Revival Church, 450 West Todd St., Hamden, CT, at 6PM with event hosts Bishop Daniel and Lady Melonie Bland, pastors of Revival Church. There will be special performances by Billy Powell & 1 Church, The Kergyma Community Choir, and Kevin Monroe and Devotion.
Arnold Johnson, Director of The Kergyma Community Choir, expresses, "It is my great pleasure to support this amazing holiday concert. I am a registered organ donor and have supported the New England Donor Services organization for about nine years because I believe in their mission. Never did I think I'd need their services. So now, needing a kidney transplant, my support has a different meaning."
The Celebrate The Gift Concert is free to the public. Billy will perform his new music and "No Christmas Without You." You can now download and stream "No Christmas Without You" on all digital music outlets and add the song to your holiday playlist.
