Check Out Skye Reedy's Two New Worship Songs
Worship leader, songwriter, and vocalist Skye Reedy releases two singles, "Only Jesus" and "Names of God," from her forthcoming live debut album set to release in June.
After dealing with a long season of life-threatening sickness and chronic disease, Skye Reedy has experienced her own personal healing miracle while worshiping God in her home being completely healed. Singing from her own experience, each song on her debut album is an anthem of praise and prayer for healing for others. "Only Jesus" speaks to how living wholeheartedly for Jesus is the sweetest place to be.
"'Only Jesus' is the love song of a life fully surrendered to Jesus," shares Reedy. "When you've watched the Lord redeem the hardest season of your life, there is no going back. You live and worship from a different place when Jesus has become the greatest treasure of your life."
Likewise, "Names of God," showcases a powerful way of declaring the multiple names of God one after another. Reedy wrote most of this song from a spontaneous moment in prayer, and it has become one of the most powerful portions of the album.

She continues, "There is a power to pull down strongholds and bring breakthrough when we call on the name of the Lord. Throughout the Bible, we learn so many different names of God we can call on when we are in need. 'Names of God' is a powerful declaration of many of those titles of our Heavenly Father."
Today's songs follow the previously released "Crown Him" and the powerful anthem "Promise Keeper feat. Joe L. Barnes." Not a newcomer to the musical scene, Skye Reedy is a seasoned vocalist having worked with artists such as Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Cece Winans, Cody Carnes, Brandon Lake, Brooks & Dunn, Disney, and more. For more than two decades she has traveled leading worship in more than 10 countries. She has also been part of performances on programs including Good Morning America, the ACMs, CBS This Morning, and the Dove Awards.
