Natalie Layne Featured by Recording Academy, Momentum, EPA Convention Ahead of "Fragile" Hitting Radio

Soul-inspired pop singer/songwriter, worship leader, accomplished pianist and producer Natalie Layne, who is named by Pandora in its 2024 Pandora Ten Artists To Watch campaign, releases "Fragile" to radio for adds. The single is featured on Layne's acclaimed Centricity Music debut EP, Amen, which is available at streaming and digital outlets everywhere.
Written by Layne along with hitmaking songwriters Paul Duncan and Christian Hale, "Fragile" follows the featured hit radio single "Amen."
"Life is incredibly fragile. It feels like things could fall apart at any moment. Yet, I've always been one to try to hold it together," shares Layne. "I wanted to write a song not to say that God always fixes broken things, but that only He can hold broken things. In our weakest moments, His compassion and understanding say, 'I'm right here. You can let go.'"
You know how to hold something fragile
You won't let me go when I unravel
You carry the world on Your shoulders
But You know how fragile I am
So I'm safe in Your hands
("Fragile" chorus)
Prior to the release of "Fragile" to radio, The Recording Academy (GRAMMY® Awards) featured a "Positive Vibes Only" exclusive video of Layne, along with an eight-piece band, performing "Grateful For," which is another song highlighted on Amen. The video can be seen at https://youtu.be/2tKBe79xV7Q.
Layne also sang "Fragile" as part of her closing musical performance at the annual Evangelical Press Association (EPA) Convention held in Lexington, KY in April. Interestingly, after receiving her invitation to perform earlier this year, Layne found out that her grandfather, Dean Merrill, would also appear at the event and receive the EPA's Lifetime Achievement Award.
During the Christian Music Broadcaster's annual Momentum event last month, Layne performed "Fragile" to rousing applause from the radio industry. The CMB's premiere event, Momentum gathers Christian radio professionals together to be educated, inspired and build community in order to reach more people for Jesus.
Along with her six-song Amen EP, Layne re-recorded and released piano and vocal versions of the EP, Amen (At The Piano). The music for both recordings is meant to be as welcoming as a friend and as cohesive as that of a seasoned artist, with the messages behind the songs stemming from her personal experience.
Layne will be sharing her new music at Community Worship Nights in 14 cities across seven states this month. She is also scheduled to perform at several festivals and fairs this summer, joining artists like Colton Dixon and Selah for more concerts before heading out on tour with Tenth Avenue North for 16 cities beginning Aug. 11.
