Rend Collective Releases Two New Songs, Available Now
Rend Collective delivers its first release in two years with the new songs "Holy Trouble" + "What I was Made For" available now. Returning to their roots, Rend Collective's new songs showcase the group with open minds anticipating what God has in store for them.
"'Holy Trouble' is angular, it has sharper edges than most worship music," shares Rend Collective. "It's not tame and that's part of the wild Irish Spiritual tradition we were born into. We attempt to reclaim the Irish tradition of the 'rebel song' for the Kingdom of Christ." These two songs complement each other as a testament to the band's passion for their craft and message.
They add, "The song, 'What I Was Made For,' is the part of us that is full of the simple joy of worship. Sometimes worship has felt complicated with grief and pain, but this is a season of joy and simplicity, and we don't want to take that for granted."
Fans will hear these two new songs during the group's "Feel Good Folk Show" tour this fall, which continues through November. See the tour dates below.
ABOUT REND COLLECTIVE: From a small, coastal town in Northern Ireland, Rend Collective forged a new palette for worship music. Trading synths for ukuleles and big halls for campfires, Rend Collective scuffed up the pristineness of modern worship, speaking directly to those who weren't knocking on the church's door. Now, they bring this same unique music to the world, leaving their sold-out audiences filled with joy, unity, and an authentic worship experience.
With career sales of over 800,500 albums and more than 712M streams life to date, the group has seen many successes, including the radio hit "Counting Every Blessing" which hit the Top 5 on the National Christian Audience Chart, and their album Choose To Worship charted at No. 3 on the Billboard Christian Albums Chart in the first week of its release. The band has also been a part of several major tours with top artists such as Chris Tomlin, Kari Jobe, Lecrae, and Mercy Me. Find out more at RendCollective.com.
