Co-written with Midi Jones (Andy Grammer, Alessia Cara) and Benji Cowart (Maverick City Worship, Big Daddy Weave), "Closer Than I Know" is a heartfelt anthem reminding us of God's unwavering love and presence in our lives. The song is sure to captivate listeners with its uplifting lyrics, smooth beat and evocative melody.
"My prayer is that 'Closer Than I Know' becomes a reminder of how near our God is," Melody expressed. "His presence is the confidence we can lean on every day."
Melody's next single, "So Good," is set to release on April 11, accompanied by a pre-save link, paving the way for the full release of Back to Praise on May 2.
After many years in the secular pop world, collaborating with artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Melody felt a pull to dedicate her craft to Christian music. This divine calling led Melody to co-found Influence Music in 2017, where she was instrumental in creating the artist collective's iTunes no. 1 and Billboard no. 2 album, "Touching Heaven" (2018).
To date, Melody's music has amassed over 228 million streams across digital platforms. Guided by the timeless creed "Soli Deo gloria" - "For glory to God alone" - Melody continues to write songs that inspire faith and encourage worship.
