Crocker writes, "Bring your brokenness, your joy, your mountain, your valley, your ups, your downs... It's less complicated than we make it sometimes, so don't make it so, and just sing 'Hallelujah' as loud and as long as You can."
Brooke Ligertwood, a fellow artist, expressed her enthusiasm for the release on Instagram, encouraging everyone to listen to the new song. "Whilst it's true that I'm first in line to be the hype woman for my mates and I hope they'll always need to tell me to calm down, the new music Matt Crocker has been incubating needs zero hype. It's just so, so flipping good. And so refreshing.
"He and Scotty have been friends since they were teenagers (then over the past 20 years I forced him to be my friend too hehe) and across those years he has already made soooo much incredible music (yep he began when he was literally like 12)... but somehow this feels like the start...
"So it's just my deep joy today to shout to anyone who will hear it that MATT CROCKER RELEASED A NEW SONG AND IT'S CALLED "HALLELUJAH"!!!!!! You will not regret this listen."
