American-Idol Alum Ashley Hess Signs With Tribl Records

Singer/songwriter, worship leader and American-idol alum Ashley Hess has announced that she signed with Tribl Records to put out a special project later this year.
Hess writes, "YOU GUYS!!! today is such a happy day because not only do I get to celebrate the day I was born (shoutout to my mom... we honestly should be celebrating her lol) but ALSO I am SO grateful and excited to announce that I signed with TRIBL to put out a very special project inspired by what's been on my heart this past year."
Hess is recognized for her soulful blend of pop and R&B music. Her musical journey began in childhood, singing in church, but she initially pursued a different path, studying dental hygiene at Utah Valley University. Realizing her true passion lay in music, Ashley shifted focus to her artistic pursuits, performing live and sharing song covers on YouTube. Her 2014 Disney medley video garnered over 5 million views, highlighting her growing appeal.
In 2019, Ashley gained national attention as a contestant on Season 17 of "American Idol." Her audition performance of Norah Jones' "Don't Know Why" impressed the judges, with Katy Perry remarking that Ashley could "win this competition." She advanced to the Top 14 before her elimination.
Post-"American Idol," Ashley relocated to Nashville to immerse herself in songwriting and the music community. She has shared the stage with notable artists such as Jason Mraz, Andy Grammer, and Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons. In September 2023, she released her debut album, "STAGES," inspired by the stages of grief.
Ashley is also a member of The King Will Come, a worship collective comprising writers, artists, composers, and creatives. Currently based in New York City, she continues to create and perform music that resonates with audiences.
