"The Chosen: Last Supper" Opens At Number 3 at the Box Office

"The Chosen: Last Supper," the latest installment in the faith-based series, debuted at number three at the domestic box office over the weekend, earning approximately $11.5 million. This marks the franchise's strongest opening to date, surpassing the previous record set by "The Chosen Season 3: Episodes 1 & 2," which opened with $8.7 million in November 2022.
The box office was led by Jason Statham's thriller "A Working Man," which opened with $15.2 million, followed by Disney's live-action "Snow White," which garnered $14.2 million in its second weekend.
"The Chosen: Last Supper" is the first part of a three-part premiere for Season 5, with subsequent parts expected to release in the coming weeks. The series continues to build on its success, with Season 3 grossing a total of $20 million and Season 4 around $30 million.
"The Chosen: Last Supper" is a theatrical release marking the beginning of The Chosen Season 5. Directed by Dallas Jenkins, the film explores the emotional and spiritual depth of Jesus' Last Supper with His disciples, highlighting themes of love, sacrifice, and betrayal.
