"Grace" was originally recorded by Jelly Roll. The song is featured on his tenth studio album, Beautifully Broken, which was released on October 11, 2024. This album marked a significant milestone in Jelly Roll's career, debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart.
The song "Grace" delves into themes of redemption, love, and the human struggle with inner demons. The lyrics portray a narrative of two individuals finding solace and understanding in each other's imperfections:
"We find love in the heart of the darkness
And we find hope when the times are the hardest
We're just twisted minds and warning signs
We're broken just the same
When my devil meets your demons, we can find a little grace"
This poignant message resonates with listeners, emphasizing the idea that even amidst personal battles, connection and grace can be found.
Danielle rose to national prominence as the runner-up on Season 21 of American Idol in 2023. Prior to this, she competed in Season 18 of The Voice in 2020, where she reached the Top 9 under coach Kelly Clarkson's mentorship.
Raised by her mother, Monica Page, after her parents' divorce in 2009, Megan grew up alongside her three siblings. She began singing in local restaurants at the age of 15 and was actively involved in her church's worship team. Her grandfather, Chuck Bass, played a significant role in nurturing her musical aspirations.
Megan's music career is deeply rooted in her Christian faith, often reflecting themes of redemption and hope. Her discography includes singles like "All Around" (2022), a tribute to her late grandfather, "If I Got Jesus" (2024), and "Grace" (2025).
In her personal life, Megan married Levi Walker in March 2025. The couple met in high school and got engaged in July 2024.
Megan Danielle continues to inspire audiences with her soulful voice and heartfelt performances, solidifying her place in contemporary Christian music.
