CAIN Releases New Song; Receives 3 RIAA Gold Certifications

Sibling trio CAIN has released a brand new song, "I Made It," which is available today. This song embodies themes of hope and perseverance, reflecting the group's challenges over the past year. You can listen to "I Made It" and watch the lyric video below.
"In 2024, a word was spoken over us; that word was survival," explains Taylor Cain Matz. "We were surprised at the heaviness of that word because, up until that point, our lives had been pretty seamless. Shortly after, things got hard for us, not just one of us but all of us, including our families and spouses. And I can see how that year was surviving. And this season brought us to our knees."
Logan Cain adds, "We have always tried to be the embodiment of victory in Jesus, and we've always tried to be the personification of outward joy. During the last year, I was waiting for victory to show up. I was waiting for the outward expression of the joy of the Lord to show up at my door, and yet it just didn't seem to come."
CAIN has been teasing the song on social media, where it has resonated with fans and gained more than 1.7 million views. Inspired by Romans 8:28, the group hopes their testimony of overcoming struggles will encourage listeners.
"You may be in the middle of a hard season upon hard season and feel like a failure because you're not enjoying life or being grateful enough," shares Madison Cain Johnson. "We want to encourage you that the joy and the victory may just be that you are surviving. You are still here living your life, meaning God has a purpose and a plan for you. There is a purpose in this life, even if it isn't how you imagine it, and it doesn't mean that God is not receiving the glory and the victory right now. I'm proud of us because we submitted to it instead of trying to fight the season we were in. We found out that surviving can be where the victory is."
Following a series of successful hits,CAIN has been awarded three RIAA Gold Certified singles from its debut album, Rise Up. It now has four Gold singles from this album, including "I'm So Blessed," "The Commission," "Yes He Can," and "Rise Up (Lazarus)." Its music continues to have a significant impact, with over 815.3 million career streams, 621.7 million TikTok views, and 115.1 million video views.
In the last year, CAIN also released two books: a lyrical picture book titled I'm So Blessed (B&H Publishing) and We're So Blessed: Forty Days of Devotions and Activities for the Whole Family (K-LOVE Books). They participated in this year's TobyMac Hits Deep tour and headlined the Jesus Music Tour alongside Ben Fuller, Katy Nichole, Caleb & John, and Joseph O'Brien. This summer, they will be aboard the Summer Worship Nights Cruise with Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham, as well as embarking on another headlining run of the "Live and In Color" tour with Jon Reddick and Caleb & John, hosted by Annie F. Downs.
