Ethan Kent Releases 7-Song EP TIME Showcasing His Journey Through Faith And Reflection

Ethan Kent is that guy who, by way of his incredible musical gift to weld worship, traditional Gospel, and pop-infused contemporary Christian arrangements, reinvents hisself with each body of work. His musical craftsmanship is unparalleled and immerses listeners in authentic God-inspired experiences.
Ethan is releasing his new music, future collaboration projects and expanding his signature brand under a new partnership with TRIBL Records. His independent label Tonic Blueprint and new TIME EP are distributed exclusively via TRIBL Records.
Ethan's TIME EP is a compelling collection of songs that delve into themes of faith, loss, love, and purpose. Ethan explains, "I've experienced a lot of life 'lifing' in these past five years-hitting a milestone age, close friends and peers in ministry and music passing away suddenly, and managing an older parent's quality of life due to decline in their health, and my big sister battled cancer a second time. All of this makes you sit, think, write, cry, pray, sing, and walk out that faith and trust in God you heard all those years in church."
"Trust In The Lord" is a throwback hymn re-interpreted with Ethan's simple, fun, and quirky Gospel pop personality. He adds a bridge, reminding us, "Every crooked place He'll make straight. Stay in your lane. Watch Him make a way."
The title track, "Time," is a poignant ballad inspired by the recent loss of friends and the acceptance of new realities. Ethan says, "I pray it serves as a heartfelt reminder that while time is precious, it is not something to be feared when our hope rests in Christ, the author and finisher of our faith."
"Heaven Fighting for Me" is a soul-stirring anthem that speaks to victory, resilience, and the unwavering power of divine intervention. Written and recorded a decade ago, this treasured song has been lovingly revived to honor the enduring life and legacy of Latisha Boyd-Smith. Featuring the heartfelt voices of Latisha and her remarkably gifted daughters, Arie and Eme, this release stands as a tribute to faith, family, and the strength that carries us through.
TIME also includes a reimagined version of Ethan's Top 30 Billboard Gospel radio hit single "My Hope Is In Glory" from his critically acclaimed debut album WORK IN PROGRESS. Although condensed and unplugged, this rendition maintains its electric, urban, contemporary Gospel vibe, remaining ideally suited for a stepper's groove.
TIME is now available on all digital music outlets. This collection is a testament to Ethan's unwavering commitment to conveying profound messages through his music, promising to resonate deeply with listeners, offering both solace and inspiration.
