Tasha Cobbs Leonard Releases Highly Anticipated First-Ever Studio Album, TASHA

3x GRAMMY-winning "gospel star" (NYT) Tasha Cobbs Leonard releases her long-awaited, first-ever studio album, TASHA, marking a defining moment in the career of one of gospel's most influential voices.
Departing from the live recordings that have defined much of her acclaimed catalog, TASHA showcases Tasha's most expansive and deeply personal music yet. Blending gospel, hip-hop, pop, R&B, and even bluegrass, the 11-track project captures raw storytelling, powerhouse vocals, and innovative production from her longtime collaborator and husband, Kenneth Leonard Jr.
Accompanying the album release, Tasha unveils the official music video for "Church," a stirring collaboration with EGOT winner John Legend. Stripped down to just voices, piano, and presence, the video underscores the intimacy and spiritual honesty at the song's core-transforming everyday moments into sacred reflections.

"This created the next level for me to release a more transparent sound that says the quiet things out loud," Tasha told The New York Times, who praised the album's sonic ambition in a recent profile.
TASHA features standout collaborations with John Legend ("Church"), Kirk Franklin ("I Still Choose You"), Lecrae ("I Needed God"), and Chandler Moore ("One Word"), as well as the viral hit "Already Good (Tasha Slide)", recently highlighted by Good Morning America and even premiering with BET on their billboard in Times Square.
In support of TASHA, Tasha Cobbs Leonard will embark on the Whole & Free Tour this fall, bringing a dynamic night of worship, testimony, and community across the country. Joined by special guests Naomi Raine, Dr. Jackie Greene, and Kobe Campbell, the tour promises a transformative experience rooted in authenticity, spiritual healing, and musical celebration. Stops for the tour include Brooklyn, Atlanta, Chicago, and Dallas. Full tour routing below.
With over 5 billion career streams, five #1 Billboard albums, and recognition as Billboard's Gospel Artist of the Decade, Tasha Cobbs Leonard continues to redefine the gospel landscape. Alongside her music, she is the author of the bestselling book Do It Anyway and co-pastors The Purpose Place Church in South Carolina.
