Gordon Mote to Make Solo Debut at Grand Ole Opry During Opry 100 Honors Porter Wagoner

In just one week, celebrated singer, songwriter, and musician Gordon Mote will step onto the stage of the Grand Ole Opry for his debut solo performance. This landmark moment takes place during the Opry's 100th anniversary year, which is being commemorated with a special series, Opry 100 Honors, spotlighting the legends who have shaped country music.
On Tuesday, August 12, the series will pay tribute to Porter Wagoner, affectionately known as "Mr. Grand Ole Opry." Gordon, who shared a close relationship with Wagoner and accompanied him on the Opry stage for several years, will perform original music, tell personal stories, and honor Porter with a performance of one of his classic hits.
Fans are invited to join this historic celebration in person. Tickets and event information are available at Opry 100 Honors: Porter Wagoner. Those unable to attend can listen live at wsmradio.com/listen-live.
