MacBook Air 2014 Release Date, Review, Rumors, Specs And Features: The MacBook Air And Pro To Feature Voice Assistant Siri
We have some update news for you on the MacBook Air 2014 release date, review, rumors, specs and features. The versions of MacBook Air and Pro this year will feature voice assistant Siri according to Apple's latest patent. Soon, the new versions of MacBooks as well as iMacs will be getting their own voice assistant. The new patent described that one of Apple's popular features along with information of the possibility of an integration of Siri in the Mac OS X platform.
Siri allows the users of iPhone, iPod and iPad in the iOS platform to perform various tasks for example send messages, access voice calls and use of the calendar which can be commanded through voice. The users of Mac OS heavily rely on the keyboard to enter data in their devices. Siri on MacBooks and iMacs will accept tasks ordered by users and it will also help with the various processes. Siri will also be able to access through Mac's dock.
Apple also plans on improving its Siri feature and make it available in more-than-one platform. It seems as if Apple is trying to get back its users who switched to Android due to its voice assistant. There are rumors that the MacBook Air Retina will feature 2 models; the 11-inch and the 13-inch models. Some of the expected key features include 2k screen resolution, 1.35 kg, 128GB or 256GB SSD, 1.4 GHz Intel Core i5, 4GB RAM, 2 *USB3.0, memory card reader, 720 pixel front facing camera and a mini DisplayPort / Thunderbolt 2.0. It is rumored to have a touchscreen feature and a better battery. It is also anticipated that the laptops will also include the new 14-nanometer Broadwell chips from Intel.
The 2014 versions of MacBook Air and Pro are rumored to be released probably on October. On the other hand, other rumors suggest that Apple will delay the release date because of the delay of the Broadwell chips since Apple is willing to delay the release of the laptop for the processors. The basic design of the MacBook has not changed over the years. We are however, yet to see a rival conclusively beat the MacBook. It is a timeless and unique design.
