Interstellar Movie Release Date, News and Updates: Christopher Nolan's Interstellar Releases New Pictures from the New Movie

Writer, Producer, and Director Christopher Nolan has a new film, Interstellar, and has been garnering a lot of hype since the teaser trailer for the film debuted months ago. Christopher Nolan is widely known as the director of The Dark Knight Trilogy as well as a number of other films considered to be of critical acclaim with the likes of Memento, Insomnia, The Prestige, and Inception. He has been known for very complex and emotionally driven stories that have had both fans and critics talking and thinking for, if not days, months.

His new film Interstellar is about a man going into space along with a team to save the human race because of shortage of food supply. They will enter a wormhole that could possibly take them to unexplored parts of the galaxy, or meet their demise. The trailer also suggest a plot revolving heavy drama, which comes as no surprise to longtime fans, knowing that Nolan's writing has always been centered on characters' emotional and personal afflictions. No other details of the plot of the story have been released, but yesterday new pictures from the film were.

New photos were released online by Entertainment Weekly, and don't reveal anything in terms of plot, but it does give us a feel of how the film will look like.

The Fall movie season is widely known as the time for possible Academy Award nominees to come from, and this new film from Nolan seems like a legit contender for 2015's Oscars.

Interstellar stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and John Lithgow. It will be released on November 7, 2015.
