Godzilla 2 Release Date: Godzilla will Roar This Summer 2018!
The Legendary pictures together with Warner Bros. already confirmed that Garth Edwards is finally backed in filming Godzilla 2. June 8, 2018 is the release date of the said movie, although there's no exact or official title yet for sequel. The Edward's Godzilla reboot already grossed almost half of billion dollars in theaters worldwide. The financial success of the movie is of course no doubt to that.
"With the exception of the 1954 original, I would say my second favorite film is Destroy All Monsters. I just love the idea of a monster island. Having a world with these creatures in it. I find that fascinating and would like to treat that realistically. I wouldn't want to limit it to one other foe, I think it's more fun to - this question will come back to haunt me if we ever do a sequel - but I think multiple creatures make better movies in terms of the image of Gojira," Edwards said.
The popular kaiju was brought on screen in the Roland Emmerich's 1998 movie remake. That time the movie had made a lot of money and because of that, Edwards is also thinking of reviving the property. Recently, Godzilla production posted an intriguing photo on Facebook. So, fans are asking what the image was about. Or how does the image could be related to the movie? So, perhaps bunker is actually designed in order to hold something like a weapon inside or anything that will help in killing the creature.
